The number one goal of the Razorback Racing Team is having fun. We are club racing at an amateur level and based in Canada. We are very proud to be sponsored by and represent the Canadian distributor for Gulf Racing Fuels and Gulf Pro Fuels.
We are currently focused on classic sidecar racing although we also compete with solo motorcycles.
The tracks we compete on are flowing, high speed asphalt circuits with elevation changes and corners that go both right and left.
The team has been around since 2011 and has improved constantly resulting in 2 Canadian VRRA championships in 2016 and 2018.
We also hold the classic sidecar lap record for:
- Shannonville Long track – 2:21.228
- St Eustache. – 1:05.530
- CTMP/Mosport – 1:49.587
- Grand Bend Long track – 1:47.802
2020 and 2021 were seriously abbreviated race seasons. Hopefully, the 2022 year brings us a full season of racing and we are definitely ready to get back at it.
The on-track team consists of driver Dave Minnett and copilot Jen Carriere. Heather Minnett keeps it all together off track, in the pits and behind the scenes. Former copilot Ben Ollila remains as part-owner but is taking a leave of absence to finish his education and start a family.
Jen lives in North Bay, ON and works as an Operations Coordinator for a building management company.
Dave works as a Field Operations Manager for a construction company, lives in Alexandria ON and works all over the map.
Heather also lives in Alexandria and works as a medical transcriptionist for Guelph General Hospital.
